How to Stretch Invoice Line Items to Fill the Page?

If your invoice has only a few line items, you can stretch the line item table so the footer appears closer to the bottom of the PDF.

This helps single-page invoices look cleaner, more balanced, and print-ready.

When should you use this?

Use this option when your invoice has very few line items, and there is a large blank space below the item table.

Important Notes

• This feature works only for the Enterprise invoice template
• It applies only to invoice PDFs
• It works only for single-page invoices
• Multi-page invoices will remain unchanged

How to Enable It

Go to Business Settings > Experimental > Turn on Stretch invoice tables to fill the page.

Also make sure this setting is enabled: Enable javascript for Invoices and other documents during PDF Downloads

How to Use It on an Invoice

Open the invoice review page and go to the template customisation section.

Under Other Configurations, enable:Stretch line items to fill page (PDF only)

Once enabled, the line item table will stretch on the PDF so the footer sits closer to the bottom of the page.

Default Behaviour

After the business-level setting is turned on, new invoices will have this option enabled by default.

Existing invoices will remain unchanged unless you enable it manually.
