How to edit/add lead labels?

Adding or editing lead labels, like “Hot,” “Cold,” or “Warm,” helps you categorize and prioritize your leads based on their importance. These labels make it easier to filter and focus on the leads that matter most, ensuring your sales efforts are more efficient.

You will see an option to Assign lead labels while you are adding a new lead OR editing it:

In case the default labels don’t fit your needs, you can also edit them OR add new ones. Let’s see how:

Adding a new Label:

To add a new label, go to Business Setting > Lead Management System > Lead Labels:

Click on “Add New Label” to add a new custom label:

As you see above, I have created a new label called “High Value” to filter leads that are of higher deal value. I have also added a custom hexcode (#733dd9) to adjust the color as per my liking.

Editing Existing Labels:

In case you want to change the name or color of the existing labels, just click on “Edit”:

Mark a Label as “Inactive”:

In case you no longer need a particular label, you can simply mark it as “Inactive”. Inactive labels will not appear in your label suggestions anymore (you can later on mark them as “active” if needed):
