How to add and use package items?

Package items are useful for cases where you are -

Selling items in bundles (i.e., cricket kit, tool kit, beauty hampers, etc.)

Selling a single item in different packs (i.e., selling mineral bottles in a pack of 12, 24, 36, etc.)

Let’s see how you can add package items to your inventory:

Creating Package Items

Firstly, ensure that all the items you want to add as a package have already been added as individual items in your inventory. (Learn how to add individual items >)

To create a package item, go to the Inventory Dashboard > go to “Add Item” dropdown > select “Add Package Item”:

Once you click on “Add Package Item”, a pop-up form will appear:

Here, start by adding basic details such as - item image, SKU ID, package name, description, etc., as shown below:

Then add all the items that are part of the package:

The Buying Price and Selling Price will automatically get updated based on the total cost of the items in the package.

If you want to add more details, just click on “Add Custom Fields.”

That’ it! Your package has been successfully added.

You can see that on your Inventory Dashboard with a package symbol:

Selling Kits/Bundles/Packages of multiple items

If you are selling items in kits, bundles, hampers, etc., you can create packages for them (i.e., cricket kits, tool kits, beauty hampers, etc.).

In case you want to show all the package items as individual items (as shown below), you can do that as well!
