# How to reverse journal entries?

Reversing entries instead of deleting them helps maintain a clear audit trail in your accounting records.

While journal entries cannot be deleted in Refrens, you can easily reverse them if needed. 

# Reversing a Single Journal Entry


You can reverse any journal entry directly from either the **Voucher Book** page or the **Voucher Entry** page.

**From the Voucher Book Page:**

* Locate the journal entry you wish to reverse, go to "More" option, and click on the **"Create Reverse Entry"** option:

**From the Voucher Entry Page:**

* Open the specific entry, and you’ll find the **"Create Reverse Entry"** button at the top right:

# Reverse Journal Entries in Bulk

You can select multiple incorrect JVs from the Voucher Books and reverse them all at once with the "**Bulk Reverse**" option:

Once processing is complete, you'll also receive a detailed email showing whether all, some, or none of your selected JVs were reversed (along with reversal references and reasons for any failures).
