# How to edit "Place of Supply" in documents? (India)

While Refrens automatically fetches the **Place of Supply** based on your client’s state, you also have the flexibility to edit it in case it is different.

While creating documents, just go to **"Add**/**Configure GST" > "Place of Supply"** to change it:

|| Note that these changes will also be reflected in the e-invoices and e-way bills generated from these documents.
