# How to delete clients/prospects?

If you want to delete a client/prospect due to duplicate entries or any other reason, you can do that with ease on Refrens.

Let’s see how:

### Step 1: Go to the client dashboard

Firstly, go to **Sales > Clients and Prospects** section from the sidebar:

### Step 2: Archive the Client

On the dashboard, go to the client you wish to delete, and click on **“Archive”** as highlighted below:

Once archived, you will be able to see all your archived clients under the **“Archived Clients”**  tab as highlighted below:

||| Note: The clients will stay in the archive indefinitely unless you delete or restore them.

### Step 3: Deleting the Archived  Client

If you wish to delete the client permanently from your Refrens Account, just click on the **“Delete**” option as highlighted below:

That’s it! Your client has been successfully deleted.
