# Configuring or Disabling Auto Lead Generation from Quotations

By default, when you create a new quotation, the system automatically generates a new lead based on the “quotation for” details you add in your quotation.

With the Lead Configurations option, you can - 

* Control in which pipeline these leads go, and what the default lead stage for each lead will be
* Disable auto lead generation

Let's see how:

Go to **Lead Management System > Lead Configurations:**

As you see, **"Auto Lead Generation from Quotations" is enabled by default.**

When you click on “Configure”, you will see the following pop-up:

You have two options here: **1) Default Pipeline**, and **2) Default Stage**.

Just click on the respective dropdown options to choose the default pipeline in which the lead goes, along with the default lead stage.

**If you don’t want the leads to get auto-generated,** you can also disable it by turning the toggle off:
